Bell Lets Talk Day is January 26th, but the Vegreville Cares Coalition has teamed up with the Vegreville Vipers for a special game this weekend in an effort to grow conversation about mental health.
On Saturday, January 22nd when the Vipers take on the Barrhead Bombers, look for special features in the gameday brochure about the Vipers players and what they do to boost their mental wellbeing.
Colleen Pidzarko-Armitage, with the Vegreville Cares Coalition, explains what else will be happening during the game.
She says it is all in an effort to keep the conversation going year round, not just on one day.
Pidzarko-Armitage notes that local resources are available.
