The Vegreville Rangers are eyeing a comeback for the 2022/2023 North East Alberta Junior B Hockey League season.
Plans are well underway for the Rangers first full official season in 2 years.
Joe Budinski is President of the Vegreville Rangers, says the organization already has some important dates on the calendar this summer.
The Rangers also named a new head coach for the coming season, Trevor Carter will take the reins behind the bench.
Carter has experience running his own goaltending school, Trevor Carter Goaltending.
As the team prepares a return to full time action; ice time, dressing rooms and advertisements around the arena remain a talking point between the Rangers and the Town Of Vegreville.
Budinski says there is no immediate update on the situation, but does not envision it preventing the team from coming back.
Correspondence between the Vegreville Rangers and Town of Vegreville occurred during the latest Regular Meeting of Town Council on May 25th.
